Forum back online, what happened?

What Happened?

Unfortunately, we are rebuilding from the ground up. The previous forum was shut down by our hosting provider under the allegation of “malware distribution.” Due to this sudden takedown, we were unable to retrieve any backups, meaning all posts, discussions, and data from the previous iteration have been lost. The only information I managed to salvage is a user list—beyond that, we are essentially starting over.

What’s Different This Time?

We’ve made several important changes to improve privacy, security, and resilience moving forward:

  1. No IP Address Storage – We have completely eliminated IP address logging. Since the forum is now hosted within a containerized environment, all IP addresses appear as 172.x.x.x, ensuring user privacy and making tracking impossible.

These adjustments aim to create a more robust and privacy-conscious community, free from the vulnerabilities that led to the previous forum’s shutdown. Further improvements will be implemented as we progress. Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your patience as we rebuild!

Weren’t some of the first folks that created accounts in the original forum granted ad free forever? in any case, the remove ads button doesn’t seem to work or offer a way to get rid of them.

Yes, we’re still working that out. The remove ads button should provide multiple subscription options or a onetime $1.00 payment to remove ads
